Standard Dynamic DNS Updates using Simple DNS Plus

In this tutorial we will demonstrate the initial setup of the "Standard Dynamic update DNS (RFC 2126)" method in Simple Failover.

Open Simple DNS Plus and make sure it is configured to allow dynamic updates.

In Simple Failover either create a new or update an existing server set.
Enter information about your DNS server on the "Update DNS" tab in the properties of the server set.
Click "OK" when done.

The first action performed by Simple Failover is validating / updating the TTL of the specified DNS A-record in the DNS database.

Simple DNS Plus is the only DNS server on the market today with a comment field of a DNS record.
