When a server appears to be down, for many, the first trouble shooting step is to open a command prompt and ping the server IP address. You can ping an individual server listed in Simple Failover simply by clicking Ping from the Toolbar. The resulting Ping dialog gives you instant ping statistics, and continues pinging the server IP address until you close the dialog.
The menu item is only available when a problem has occured and the problem is selected in the Problems tab in the main dialog.
