Simple DNS Plus - Standard Dynamic DNS Updates

In Simple DNS Plus (version 3.20 and later), standard Dynamic DNS updates are configured individually for each DNS zone.

In the main dialog in Simple DNS Plus, click the Records button:



In the DNS Records dialog, select the zone you want to update with Simple Failover in the Explorer pane, and click the Properties button:



In the zone properties dialog under the Dynamic Updates tab, check Accept Standard Dynamic Update requests and specify that only the IP address of the computer running Simple Failover is allowed to do this (subnet mask 255.255.255.255 means one IP only):
